It was during the realization of a great report on radio for his diploma in journalism that Adramé Ismyxël fell really in love with the sound. At the time, as a student, he aspired to a great career in investigative journalism but a mysterious event will upset his plans. During a rainy morning in September 2016, he went to a locality in eastern Senegal to investigate an incredible case. Arrived at the scene, his attention was particularly attracted by a sound he heard in the distance. He listened and then, as if by spell, he approached to hear better. The sound in question was actually a song. A song sung by a small group of women who plowed a field accompanied by an old drummer. Adramé Ismyxël asked permission to immortalize these beautiful words with his dictaphone and, great was his surprise when it was granted.
